About *
Faceless Paradise is the UK’s first phone-less music and arts festival based in Dorking, Surrey, created to support independent artists, local makers, and creative work that sits outside the mainstream.
Set at Swanworth Farm, the festival brings together live music, food, workshops, and handmade traders in a landscape that encourages people to slow down and spend time with one another.
The festival is intentionally small, allowing space for a carefully curated programming and a more considered approach to production. This scale enables fairer working practices, clearer access planning, and closer relationships between artists, audiences, and organisers.
Faceless Paradise works with local landowners, Surrey and South East–based creatives, and independent artists selected for their craft, values, and willingness to build something collaboratively rather than commercially.
The festival is artist-first in its approach, prioritising creative freedom, fair pay, and supportive conditions. Rather than chasing growth, Faceless Paradise focuses on building a sustainable event that can develop thoughtfully over time.
Who are we?
Faceless Paradise started as a small group of local creatives wanting to make something slow, human and community-led, prioritising connection over consumption.
We’re focusing on depth over scale. This means:
Putting artists first, with fair fees, considered scheduling, and supportive working conditions
Working independently and locally, collaborating with Surrey and South East creatives, makers, and freelancers
How we’re building this
Faceless Paradise is built through a process of listening, testing, and learning.
We’re shaping the festival through trial and reflection — working closely with local partners, freelancers, and contributors to understand what works best for the people involved and adapting our plans as those conversations evolve. This allows the festival to grow thoughtfully, informed by real conversations and experiences. We believe the best events are built through dialogue, not perfection.
By building in this way, we’re able to respond with care, make informed decisions, and create a festival that feels considered, grounded, and collaborative.
Be Here. Not Online.
Faceless Paradise is a phone-less festival — not because we hate phones, but because we want to spend some time without them.
A space to let go, be present, and remember what it feels like to be human together. Four days of music, culture, connection, and presence. Cameras are welcome. Moments are protected. Phones? Optional… but not needed.
Why Phone-Less?
Connect with people around you
Experience music and culture fully
Remember moments, not posts

Rooted locally
Faceless Paradise is rooted in Dorking and the wider Surrey area, built from the ground up by creatives who are passionate about supporting sustainable music and artist growth.
The festival takes place at Swanworth Farm, a local countryside site that allows us to work closely with the land and its surroundings, keeping our impact low and our connection strong. We’re committed to working with local landowners, independent traders, makers, and freelancers, prioritising people and businesses from Surrey and the South East wherever possible.
Faceless Paradise is focused on bringing together independent musicians, artists, producers, and organisers who care about making culture that feels accessible, inclusive, and human.
By keeping the festival intentionally small, we’re able to focus on quality over scale: fair pay, meaningful collaboration, and a genuinely welcoming environment for artists, audiences, and everyone involved in making the event happen.
